Firstly, I want to say that I'm sorry for rushing the last few chapters and defiling what should have been a great comic.
As of this post, I've released an update to the comic viewer, which should allow for easier navigation between the current chapters. But none of that matters at this point. In a future update, those chapters will be replaced by something better. The changes underway at an undetermined date will be as follows:
1. The current chapters will be known as previews or scrap content. They will still be viewable on this site for archival purposes but will be neither canon nor official comic strips.
2. Chapters 2 & 3 will become chapter 2, Chapters 4 & 5 will become chapter 3, Chapters 6 & 7 will be chapter 4, and chapters 9 & 10 will be chapter 5. The worst panels in those original chapters will be redrawn; some dialogue may change to resolve plot holes and pacing issues.
3. Lucifer Redesign: I hate the current two designs as they're too similar to what inspired it to begin with, one of my favorite Black Clover characters. I've finally come up with a design that should resolve this and bring a parallel between the characters he's supposed to be related to.
4. No more official monthly releases. I'm going back to three-month releases (give or take), roughly 16 pages each. If a chapter gets delayed, I'll announce it, but I'm sticking to a strict policy of quality over quantity. Not having to rush chapters helps me sleep better, knowing I didn't release garbage.
5. Website Redesign: Yes, this will happen. It's inevitable considering I will be serving old and new comics on this same site. I'll probably link streams to this site as well so we can chill on Twitch during the waits. This redesign will be released at the same time as the redrawn 1st Chapter.
6. A discord server has been created but will not be public until I resolve certain issues.
7. Sins of Dissentia Game Development is on hiatus for now until the above changes are handled.
I will be working on this in the shadows and will probably show teasers closer to the release date of the 1st chapter. Anyways, see you guys real soon. - XV
